There are various tourist attraction places around Murti which are really exotic destinations. Some of the places you can visit are like Gorumara National Park, Chapramari, Chukchukia, Khunia and Chalsa. You can also visit nearby hill destinations like Jhalong, Bindu and Paren. Samsing, Suntaleykhola. As above mention, there are lots of places to visit around Murti but Gorumara National Park is an epic destination near Murti. It is the entry point just a few kilometres away from Murti and a prominent tourist attraction those who are looking for jungle safari, located in the Dooars region. It is covered with moist deciduous forests, including sal, siri, khair, simul and teak trees, along with small plants and shrubs. The main entrance of the park is from Lataguri, where there are many watchtowers for viewing animals and birds. The important watchtowers in the park are the Jatraprasad Watch Tower and Rhino Observation Point, near the Gorumara Forest Bungalow. The Old Khunia Watch Tower near the Murti Forest Bungalow and Suksukia Bird Watching Point are also located inside the park. The Gorumara National Park is known for its large population of great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, leopards, hog deer, sambar, elephants and Indian bison. The ideal time to visit the park is between November and April.

Best Time to Visit Murti

The ideal time for visiting Murti starts from the mid of October and extends up to the mid of March. During the winter season, the river banks of Murti becomes a favoured playground for the migratory waterfowls of Central Asia and Ladakh. All the reserve forest in Dooars remains closed during the rainy season (15th June–15th September) and reopens around the mid of September.
